The service
SpokenWise is a free tool for practising English pronunciation. Scores come from automated speech analysis. They're a guide for practice, not a certified assessment of your English.
Your account
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in details safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
Fair use
- There's a daily practice limit per account so the service stays free for everyone.
- Don't use bots or scripts, try to get around the limits, or use the service to harm others or the service itself.
- Only paste text you have the right to use. Practising with short passages for personal study is fine.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
Sentences you paste and your results stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.
No warranty
SpokenWise is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that scores will be exact. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss from using it.
Changes
We may change or stop the service, or update these terms. If we change the terms, we'll update the date above; continuing to use SpokenWise means you accept them.
